Sink in a Wooden Barrel

Sink in a barrel

The owner from the Calgary West store sent in this picture of a customers project. The customer, a plumber by trade, incorporated an oval sink into a wooden Oak barrel.

Interesting idea!

Cedar Adirondack Chair

Cedar Adirondack Chair

Western Cedar Adirondack Chair

This was a project submitted by the blog: www. cedarworkshop.net.

Made from leftover  Western Red Cedar deck boards. Each board is 5/4″ thick x 5-1/2″ wide and range from 20″ to 36″ in length.

The curved backrest really hugs your lower back, and the slightly tapered 20″ seat is designed to take the weight off your feet and handle a lot of weight, too.

It’s been 12 years and the chairs are holding up well.

Plans for this chair  came from the Woodsmith Magazine and Plansnow.
