The Tough Mudder adventure challenge are hardcore 10 – 12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. The two day event had over 16,000 participants. Suad, Joshua and a good friend all did well with a few cuts and bruises, but emerged the following work day with no broken bones.
Suad and Joshua have also been nominated for the 2012 Sawchuk Award for the most creative use of a Windsor Plywood vehicle decal for their event t-shirts! Great idea!
Walnut Spice Cabinet and Jewelry Box by John Milne – Windsor Plywood Vernon. Made from Walnut shorts. Each box is 19 1/2” high, 16” wide, 11 1/2” deep. Face has been book matched from a solid piece. The back can be removed to access a secret compartment and a slot at top for important papers. Approximately 100 man hours went into this project.

Made from leftover Western Red Cedar deck boards. Each board is 5/4″ thick x 5-1/2″ wide and range from 20″ to 36″ in length.
The curved backrest really hugs your lower back, and the slightly tapered 20″ seat is designed to take the weight off your feet and handle a lot of weight, too.
It’s been 12 years and the chairs are holding up well.
